Lil Nicki started singing and rapping at the age of six (6). She created love for the music through the movie "Barbie" (the series). At age 7, she started to watch American female rapper "Nicki Minaj" music videos on YouTube. "Pill "N" Portion", "Right By My Side" and "Your Love" were her three favorites. From there on, she got inspired and started to do raps. She did lot of covers on almost all of Nicki Minaj songs before releasing her own song(s).
