Avenette Tennema Sirleaf better known by her stage name Queen V, is a Liberian Hipco female rapper. She was born in Monrovia and grew up in Old Road Community.

Her parents Mr. Ahmadu V. Sirleaf and Mrs. Mildred B. Sirleaf are both belated. She has an older sister named Sarah V. S. Browne and an older brother named Ahmadu V. Sirleaf (Russian). She is most Known for her single, Jue You Bad, featuring Tan Tan-B and Deng. As well as, Who Make You Cry, And It Na Right, featuring Takun J and Lucky Buckay Respectively which gave her popularity and brought her to the spotlight in the industry in 2006.

Early Life and Career:
Avenette Tennema Sirleaf originates from the Vai ethnic group in Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia. She grew up in Monrovia, where she started doing stage performances in her school and community. She grew up as a very active energetic kid always doing poems, recitations, and dancing during her preschool and kindergarten days. Her passion for music eventually grew at the age of sixteen when she started freestyling, lip-singing and dancing to the music of Brandy, Alia, Queen Latifa and DMX which motivated her to do music as a hobby. But her style of being a real hardcore rapper came after she listen to couple of verses from DMX the American rapper from who she developed her boyish style from.
She eventually started doing music as a career, got into rapping, adjusted to the style and finally stood as the only female rapper in the game. The name Queen V, was given to her by her fans and the V stands for Vanilla, that spicy ice-cream flavour.
Music Career:
After dropping her first single, Far way to go, produced by T Holder in 2006, Queen V started to make headways in the industry. She dropped hits after hits featuring most of the top Liberian Artiste. The song Jue You Bad featuring Deng and Tan Tan made her Rise to prominence, and earned her respect amongst her peers and other female artiste, fame, and the recognition as the best female rapper in Liberia. A title she holds up to present. With the release of, Who Make You Cry, and It Na Right, Queen V gave her fans a positive conviction of her abilities and made her hold ground and cling more firmly to her title. Jue you bad released in 2013 made the number one countdown that year and was a club banger throughout.
She dropped the song Put Talk Quick featuring Chilla Coolnanee in 2014 and did so many performances in and out of Monrovia before leaving for Asia. She have been away from the Hipco game for four years until she came back in 2017 and made her first newest single this year titled: Da Who Talk It, featuring one of Hipco most amazing rapper Nigger Blow. And is currently working on several projects to hit the city soon.

Apart from music, Avenette Tennema Sirleaf is also a movie star. In 2013 she starred in The movies Cat Kingdom and Complications. This talented superstar also starred in the movie Wedigar in Ghana, as the wife of John Dumelo. With much love for entertainment, she’s currently being featured in a comedy skit produced by Dream Debo 24 Hours Laughter. Queen V also served as a radio broadcaster at Radio Monrovia during High School as a part time job. She’s also a former employee of the Liberia Broadcasting System in 2006 and HOTT FM in 2010. She became the brand ambassador of Bavaria Beer January 2018.
