How versatile is F.A? His performance on One Night is a perfect answer. His delivery on this Slow dance hall Jam is wonderful, but being versatile without having a complete identity is very disturbing. In this song, you will see that F.A wasn’t sure if he should come out as a Liberian or Represent his adopted Country Nigeria. Did you hear the part that F.A spoke Yoruba? F.A should have left the Nigerian thing to Ice Prince and expressed his Liberian Personality more, because I feel one reason artists do international collaboration’s is to buy into each other’s music market, it’s a cultural exchange, not you trying to be who or what you are not.
The Cool Cat Boss Ice Prince wouldn’t do what F.A did, Records have it that Ice Prince would rather sound more Nigerian on any international song or go with a universal flow like he did on “One night” because he knows that the only way other nationalities would accept him and value him is if he is Original. I have heard most people say that they never knew it was F.A that featured Seyi Shay on “Back” until they watched the video, it was more as if it was Paul of Psquare(Rude boy) that featured the Diva and now it’s almost the same case with one night. Apart from the issue of F.A struggling with his identity, why will such an heavy song like one night get leaked? This is unlike F.A and his management team, because if they really had plan’s for the song it would have dropped with a video just the way F.A likes to release his international Collaboration’s. Or who betrayed F.A? Or is it that it was Intentionally leaked by F.A because there was no proper plan for the jam by his label?
