THE TOP 5 BEST SONGS IN FEBRUARY

Kicking off our round ups of the best songs of the month, we have decided to narrow down the list to just 5 songs.

Unlike previous years, it seems artists are taking their time to monitor what their contemporaries and industry competitors are up to.

While some big names have taken up the challenge to open their 2019 accounts, we are yet to see or hear any major hit from some of them, almost feels like they’re no existent.

Plus Liberia has decided to pick the top 5 songs in February.

5. BuckyRaw ft. Stunna & Ice Prince – Thank You:

Raving Liberian, rapper Bucky Raw had an impressive outing in 2018 after so many challenges and setbacks that came his way. He is a real definition of what is called from GRASS 2 GRACE. In less than 6months of his return back to LIBERIA he has proven to be the rap king of the Liberian music industry in a short while ranging from his hit singles to his CSE 2 album. Bucky is possibly one of the most relevant bubbling acts to watch out for in 2019.
He teamed up with Stunna and one of Nigeria’s super star rapper IcePrince and Stunna(who by the way also had an amazing 2018) to share a fire banger titled “Thank You” which is currently making rounds on and offline and gaining views on YouTube per seconds. We hope this comes through with a great follow up.

4. Kizzy W ft. Kobazzie – Boil 4x:

Just as we were still gearing up for an amazing year, KizzyW released a new track titled “Boil 4x” featuring Kobazzie whose much anticipated “Bounce Remix” featuring Nigerian superstar Davido is yet to be released. The song upon its release sparked off a wide range of social media acceptance.
One thing that makes KizzyW stand out is the fact that he always finds a way to diversify himself between being an Rnb singer and also a very good Afro-pop artist to the extent that some argue if he’s really an Rnb artist.

3. Cjay ft. J Slught – Rising Sun:

Bilikon Ent. act C.Jay who has blessed his fans with couple of hits ranging from “BossChick” to “My Vow” drops yet another classic Afro song featuring BeeVonne Recordz multi talented singer and producer J.Slught on this love tune tagged “RISING SUN”. Rising Sun is a song that gained massive relevance on social media even before release, as the flyer took over social media months back.

2. Stunna – 911:

Stunna has proven himself to be a force to reckon with when it comes to his musical career. Stunna is someone who is not afraid to experiment or play with new sounds. The song 911 is a clear indication that Stunna could be featured on a song with international dancehall artists like Patoranking and he will deliver perfectly well. In less than a month of release 911 has taken over the airwaves and streets that you would feel the song was released last year. We anticipate the release of the video anytime soon!

1. JAREDO – Smile:

If there’s anything that can be said about JAREDO, it will be his ability of being consistent. Can we call JAREDO the most consistent Liberian Musician? He always has a way of connecting with his fans and knowing their thirst at every given time and he never disappoints.
Smile begins with powerful guitar chords and JAREDO brought a totally different vibe on the sound of the acoustic guitar. He played with our normal colloquial English in a way that “SMILE” could play anywhere around the World and it would be gladly accepted. “SMILE” is totally a mind blowing song, it’s not your usual type of song. Let’s hope this song cuts across!
