I saw the Kiosk Double H designed in Memory of DJ Theo, it had every name of those that are working tirelessly to move the Entertainment Industry forward, the fact that the Kiosk has wheels symbolized the possibility of us being able to drive through every difficult moment that may surface just like the death of the great DJ, the refusal of the Government and Companies to invest in the Industry like they should and so on. People have been talking and what I have heard have made no sense to an extent.
Someone posted on social media that what is trending now in our Entertainment Industry is the human sacrifice of our bright stars for the entertainment sector to bloom. He said the musicians have sacrificed Quincy B, Now the DJs have sacrificed DJ Theo, Who would the Bloggers Sacrifice? I heard that part about bloggers and I burst into laughter, wondering what sort of joke is this? Someone else took this very serious after raising similar discussion with me, this time the blame wasn’t on the DJ Association but on Double H, He said “Do you think DJ Theo deserved the best Disc jockey more than DJ Nelly?” He said in this country right now there’s no DJ that can say he is greater than DJ Nelly, he progressed that the award was given to DJ Theo to compensate him for his death, that Double H knew DJ Theo was going to die since it was Double H that did the event planning and behind the scene arrangements for the Award Ceremony. When I heard this I was getting confused too because that’s too harsh on Double H, this is the second time he has been accused of killing an entertainer, the first time he was linked to the death of Quincy B.
I want us to stop disrespecting Double H, this man has done so much and invested into the Entertainment Industry more than most Liberian Political figures and our so called Wealthy men. I know we are so hurt by the tragedy in the industry, but we shouldn’t bite one of the fingers that’s feeding the industry. Just take few minutes to imagine the industry without the efforts of Double H and it would be nothing but a grave, filled with potentials but lifeless. DJ Theo would be highly missed by all of us, may your soul rest in Peace brother. All we need is Positive energy, Say no to hatred and negative vibes!
