This smells like trouble and it’s coming from a single act of ignorance from our own Liberian Afropop and dancehall act TeddyRide. Teddy Ride who celebrated his birthday on Sunday recently announced the inception of his movement and by doing this he posted the logo of his movement which is the same logo with Timaya‘s record label.
We respect Teddy Ride for trying to create his own fan army but that can’t be successful by stealing another man’s intellectual property, maybe because he could do a cover to Timaya’s song “BAM” now means he has the right to any thing that belongs to the Superstar. Hey! Teddy, to avoid celebrating the remaining part of your birthday month in jail please change your logo, please be original, originality is what sells an artist, the likes of Timaya, Burna Boy and Shatta Wale won’t be this great if they were thieves. We know you look up to these guys, Shatta would appreciate that you got inspired through his movement, the big issue is you are not working as hard as him to maintain or even achieve such fan base. Teddy Ride you need more sleepless nights on your career and you also need to pay consultants to give you ideas so you wont find yourself being stranded when it comes to cooking up ideas. Teddy we just need you to do extra and in the long run we hope this doesn’t hunt you in the future.
