Christmas season is around the corner and we’re already discovering some uprising leaders, beautiful and intelligent young females of our time. Today’s WCW of this wondrous week is no one else but Hawa G.N Kolubah, borne forth by Elizabeth Zoe and Joseph Kolubah on September 26, 2001. An Alumni scholar and graduate of the 2018/2019 graduating class of the B.W.Harris Episcopal School. Graduated as the valedictorian of her class at the age of 18, after which she was chosen as one of the few students to enroll at the African Methodist Episcopal University on the “Vacation Bridge Program “ which was meant for students with excellent academic performance.
During her childhood, She attended the Zoe Louise Preparatory School in Barnesville and upon her graduation from the 6th grade in the academic year 2012/13, She was enrolled at the Bravid Washington Episcopal School. While acquiring distinct education from the above mentioned institution, She was then recognized by the former President of Liberia, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, and given an award of “Excellent Academic Performance “. She was also chosen many times to represent her institution as well. Miss Kolubah is now a Sophomore Student at the African Methodist Episcopal University majoring in Public Administration and Accounting minor. She contested and lost the elections during her first year at the University as Freshmen Presidential candidate. This lost didn’t bring her hopes down or scattered her aims but amplified her abilities instead. All her life, She’s been aspired to be a leader, most importantly, impacting lives and serving in public offices that which will gain her favorable recognitions in the outside world. Miss Kolubah plans on getting a couple of degrees which would include: Masters in International Relations and Diplomacy, a Law Degree and hopefully a doctorate degree in something that goes with what she has passion for.
These are few statements made by Miss Kolubah. She said and I quote
“As an aspiring female and generational change maker, I want to be seen as a role model to many young girls out there and to be able to support that dreams and career plan. I’m yet to start my own foundation. Lastly, With God above and all other factors constant, all these which are written will begin to fall in place.
She has done several donations both with school materials and food items at schools and even at her university. She is aiding with tuitions as young as she is and also providing mentorship for other young people as well.
