DJ Edu is a Kenyan born- London-based DJ who runs the 1Xtra’s Destination African show on BBC. DJ Edu is noted for recognizing talented artists, who continue to make major headlines, in the world. Dj Edu is the first and still the only announcer for the African mix show labeled Destination Africa(DNA) on BBC Radio. Through this platform, the famous Dj was able to bring some big names to the global African music scene in the UK including Akon, D’Banj, Ice Prince, M.I, 2Face, Jesse Jagz, Wande Coal, J. Martins, Amani, Brymo, Wizkid, Tiffany Asa, Dr. Sid, and many other top-notch artistes. Yesterday, Dj Edu couldn’t call on any order artiste order than Liberia’s music gurus Stunna and the one and only King Caro.
Stunna and King Caro are currently in the Uk in continuation of the Independence Day celebration. These two continue to make major headlines that have been fruitful to our music industry. I think Liberian artists are gradually achieving their goal of making Liberian music to be heard by the outside world. Both artists discuss a variety of things including their major contribution to music in Liberia and the work at large. Stunna recently dropped his new single(Green Light) which is on all musical platforms. Dj Edu himself couldn’t stop loving and vibing to the song. On the other hand, King Caro is dropping her most anticipated single tagged “Spot on Fire” today. The fans are all set and can’t wait for the song to drop.
Actually, The Dj was impressed and convinced that Liberian music nowadays has a huge quality. Thank you, Stunna and King Caro, for being part of this musical generation of making Liberian music to be known to the world.
