Reflecting on 2017, when I first began digging deep into Liberian music, she was the artist who captured my attention and wouldn’t let go. It wasn’t her fame or presence on the scene that initially drew me in; it was something more profound. Sweetz’s music wasn’t something to simply listen to; it was something to feel.

In a conversation, she mentioned, “I spend a lot of time working behind the scenes, developing opportunities for new artists and still recording music”, something you hardly see other artists doing.
