Davy C - Dave Effion Johns, born December 21st, 1996, stage name "Davy C" is a Liberian rapper, singer, performer, songwriter, and poet. Born and raised in Ghana, he grew up in a musical family where his mom was part of the choir and his aunt a praise leader. He came to mainstream in 2020 after the release of his first single "Muah Muah." His style of music could be described as a blend of Trapco, Hip-Hop, Afroswing, and Afrotrap. He gets his inspiration from nature, his state of mind, literature, societal events, and personal experiences, and his biggest artistic influences are Loaded Lux, Kendrick Lamar, Myson, and Popcaan. He fell in love with music and was determined to be an artist during his high school days, spending hours mastering his craft.
